Experience unrivalled views of our beautiful Somerset countryside, River Axe and the striking Mendip hills on our Farm Walk.

Access is via the Mendip Camping Field; follow the Farm Walk signs, and enjoy exploring the local farmland while taking in the spectacular surroundings.

Perfect for a gentle stroll, an energetic dog walk, or just getting back in touch with nature.

The River Axe is generously stocked with roach, perch, chub, pike, carp and eels for the anglers. If you are staying with us, fishing is free. However, you must have a rod fishing license. Children under 13 do not need a license. If you are not staying with us, day tickets are available from Reception. Please note the coarse fish close season runs from 15th March until 15th June.
