UPDATE – 19th July 2021

 

From Monday 19th July, most Covid restrictions will be lifted, meaning there will be no requirement for social distancing, no limits on social contact, and no limits to household mixing.

 

A few things to consider:

 

Shower and toilet facilities

If you have onboard facilities, we encourage you to use them to help reduce numbers in the blocks and help keep everyone safe. We will continue to carry out regular inspections and cleaning, and you can help us by ensuring all areas are left clean and tidy for other guests to use.

 

Reducing the risk

We have kept all hand sanitiser points and screens in place for your and our team’s safety. So please do your part to keep everybody safe and healthy and help reduce the risk of Covid spreading.

 

Face coverings

Masks will not be mandatory; however, we recommend you wear one when moving through busy areas in line with government guidance. In addition, some of our team members will continue to wear a face-covering in some indoor spaces.

 

Track and Trace

We recommend you continue to check into our venues using the NHS QR codes. However, this is no longer mandatory.

Following the further easing of COVID restrictions, we are pleased to announce all our toilet, shower & wash blocks have been reopened. However, our advice is to continue to use your own facilities where possible. Please follow the COVID protocols we have put in place and continue to maintain social distancing.

Following the UK Government’s recent guidance, we are pleased to announce we reopen all of our sites on 12th April. Our gates will open at 8.30 am.

 

We are awaiting further clarification on the use of communal areas and shared facilities (including toilet and shower blocks), and we will advise on this as soon as possible.

 

As it stands, our toilet and shower blocks will be closed until 17th May, at the earliest. Therefore, units must be self-contained, which means using your onboard facilities. As a result, we are unable to accept tents during this time.

 

Please note these dates are subject to change in line with further Government guidance.

What we are doing to keep you safe

 

The safety of our staff, customers and the local community is our number one priority. Throughout lockdown we have been continuously reviewing all government guidance, working closely with industry trade bodies, local holiday parks, and health and safety advisors, to develop new guidelines and procedures on our parks to ensure we continue to provide a happy and safe place enjoy your holiday.

 

As a result, we have introduced the following measures:

 

  • Social distancing procedures and visible one-way systems where required, with increased signage
  • A signed way in, and way out, of our buildings to ensure you can socially distance yourself from others
  • Enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures for site facilities and shared spaces.
  • Additional pop-up handwashing/sanitisation facilities will be provided
  • Our shop will be encouraging contactless transactions, with queue management systems
  • Our cafe will be operating on reduced capacities to ensure correct social distancing. We will be offering take away food that will be compliant with social distancing guidelines
  • Restricted access to Reception, which has screens installed.
  • Encouraging contactless methods of payment, where possible
  • Pre-arrival emails to help you prepare for your visit
  • Additional training for staff

How can you play your part?

 

We all have an essential role to play to ensure we all remain safe, so when on-site, please follow this advice:

 

  1. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds.
  2. Always use the sanitisation points when entering and leaving our facilities.
  3. Socially distance (2m) from other guests and our staff at all times.
  4. Comply with all signage and floor marking instructions.
  5. Listen to our staff instructions.
  6. If you or any of your family experience Covid-19 symptoms, then contact us immediately on 01278 751 794. Do not leave your accommodation and please wait for further instructions.

When do you plan to reopen?

Following the Prime Ministers announcement outlining the roadmap out of lockdown, we are planning to reopen on April 12th 2021.

I have a booking for before April 12th, what should I do?

If you haven’t already been contacted by our team, please email info@diamondfarm.co.uk or call 01278 751794 and we will discuss all your options

Will the toilet and shower blocks be open?

No, the toilet and shower blocks will be closed until 17th May, at the earliest. This means you will have to use your onboard facilities during this time.

I have a booking between April 12th & May 17th, what should I do?

Our team will be in touch with you to discuss your options. As it stands our toilet and shower blocks will be closed until May 17th, therefore, units must be self-contained, which means using your onboard facilities. As a result, we are unable to accept tents during this time.

My holiday balance is due to be paid soon. What should I do?

Please continue to pay the remaining balances as scheduled. Please note all bookings and payments are covered by our Covid-19 guarentee.

Can I call you to discuss my booking?

Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday 9 am – 4 pm. Please call 01278 751794. If you cannot get through, please leave a message, and we will respond to you as soon as we can.

Can I make a new booking?

I have a static caravan or seasonal touring pitch with you. Where do I stand regarding my site fees?

Please continue to pay your fees by the due date as stated in you Licence Agreement. Thank you for your ongoing patience and support.

Is the park open for day visitors? Can I come and check on my caravan?

In line with government advice, visits to second homes, campsites and holiday parks are not allowed. As a result, we remain closed and cannot accept day visitors.
